Nokia 8.1 Is Launched With ‘PureDisplay’ Screen Technology

HMD Global that manufactures and sells Nokia phones has launched value smartphone Nokia 8.1 in its flagship model range. The devices are lined up with “PureDisplay” screen technology.

The device would be available in blue/silver, steel/copper, and iron/steel color variants, and the sale will start in mid-December for a price close to Rs.32000

This Android One smartphone is powered by the latest Android version and regular security updates.

The value flagship category of Nokia has witnessed a staggering success in the last few months. Nokia is all ready to extend their boundaries in this segment since the phones available in the mid-pricing segment are hailed for their accelerated performances

with a highly advanced processor architecture, dual cameras with an industry-leading sensor, OIS and ZEISS Optics for low-light imaging and newly launched PureDisplay HDR screen technology

The device sports a 12MP main camera with ZEISS Optics, coupled with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) superfast autofocus. The phone also contains a 20MP front camera for selfies too.

The Nokia 8.1 is the first Nokia smartphone to be launched in the market with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

JuhoSarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global, in a press statement affirmed their partnership with Google and expressed their satisfaction concerning this collaboration. According to him, HMD Global has enabled an exclusive portfolio of Android One devices that are manufactured to deliver a fresh and secure experience. In another press statement by Google, Jon Gold, Director of Android One Partnerships, expressed about their thrilling adventure in partnering with HMD Global on the launch of new Nokia 8.1, the brand’s first device with Android 9 Pie out of the box

The phone comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and 3500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
