After Verizon, AT&T Partners With Samsung For Launching 5G Enabled Smartphones

The recent developments in the IT world state that the US telecom carrier Verizon announced a 5G-enabled smartphone with Samsung. Just after a few days of such declaration, another US giant, AT&T, unveils a new set of plans with the South Korean Mobile Phone giant. It has announced plans to boost its mobile 5G device lineup with a 5G smartphone from the South Korean giant in the first half of 2019.

The AT&T 5G-enabled smartphone will provide customers with a compatible plan that would lead them to access the 5G network even before the end of the 2018 calendar year.

5G is just becoming more than just a network. David Christopher, President of AT&T Mobility and Entertainment, in a press statement cited that the technology would help the customers to connect instantly to startling possibilities.

The partnership with Samsung is to bring the best in technology and innovation to AT&T customers. Since 5G is the next big thing in the telecom world, the future looks bright for the consumers since this technology is the harbinger of a new beginning of a tech-enabled world.

AT&T is working synchronously with Samsung to create America’s first manufacturing-focused 5G Innovation Zone.

The primary objective of using the 5G technology is to activate new and exciting robotic manufacturing capabilities for a righteous understanding of the 5G impact on smart factories.

AT&T said in a press statement that the future smart factories would be enabled with 5G-connected sensors that will be able to transmit information about equipment performance, that ranges from vibration to noise data in real time

A few months back in September, AT&T selected Samsung over others as one of its technology suppliers to help AT&T build its mobile and 5G network.

On Monday, Verizon and Samsung announced the coherent launch of one of the first commercial 5G technology-enabled smartphones in the US in the first half of 2019.
